I have a clear understanding of what a Real SD should be.. A SD should be willing to give and able to afford the finner things for his SB. Most of these site have guys there only looking for a hook up or before they give money they want to have sex inorder to help out.

In my opinion a real SD is a man that is attentive, and listens to my needs and wants. Give me guidence in the right direction. Gives me allowences and not ask me for sex. Something like that comes when that SB feels comforTable..

If he is a real Man/SD he will know his roal and realize that he wouldn’t have to ak for sex. OR feel that he wont benefit from the relationship. As I see it when a woman is happy then her partner will be also…

So my husband has found a new hobby. I think its pretty cute, hes now into rock tumbling. He bought all these ugly rocks, and turned them into something fabulous. Well my question is, when is someone too old to be playing with these things? I mean wouldn’t you think it sounds kinda wierd that my husband plays with rock tumblers? Anywho, he got the idea from one of his buddies at work. I get a chance to do girls not out with my girlfriends now more often so I guess im not really complaining cause I missed hanging with my friends ever since we had the baby in all.

I agree with you 99% but wonder if you have really looked at the whole picture. DOn’t mean to be critical just food for thought.

The topic is quite trendy in the net right now. What do you pay the most attention to when choosing what to write about?

  9. Honeybunni says:

Thank you for the support SuthrnExec :). As a self proclaimed “recession sugarbaby”, I am new to this and appreciate all the feedback I can get.

  10. OCSugarBaby says:

Ladies, SuthrnExec is anything but ordinary!. I should not be telling all of you how special he is. You may kill me off!!!

  11. SuthrnExec says:

Jennifer, are most guys that inattentive?? Honest to God! I’m not fishing for compliments here because I think I’m pretty ordinary, but honestly, how the heck are you going to learn about someone if you don’t listen? I have been accused by some of having ADHD, but at least I can listen and be attentive and learn many of the things that make someone tick and learn what they enjoy and what will make them happy. A SD is supposedly a successful businessman and unless he inherited daddy’s millions, he didn’t get to be successful by not listening and paying attention! Maybe I just had to work at it a little harder than some, but PA-LEEEESE!! Ladies, you deserve, at the very least, someone who will listen – or at least will try!

  12. Jenniferbbwsb says:

HoneyBunni, great note to the SD.

To both OC and SE, what each of you have written is just beautiful. I would have cried if I received such a gift. I have someone think enough of you give you something just by listening. How wonderful!!!

  13. SuthrnExec says:

HoneyBunni, sounds like school is in session! If he doesn’t understand now, he doesn’t want to!

This is an email I recently sent to a potential sd that just did not seem to understand the basics of the sd/sb relationship.

Sorry I dropped off. It is nothing you did, but had to do with other matters. I have had some interesting and disturbing conversations with people on the site and I just needed to regroup. There are people on the site that are there for the wrong reasons. They are not looking for an “arrangement”. Some are looking for a real relationship, others are looking for an escort or simply to “hook up”. They are using the site to collect pictures or worse by misrepresenting their intentions. The reason I was attracted to the sd/sb relationship was the no games aspect it afforded. I liked the straight forward approach that allowed both parties to be truly satisfied without the drama of something more conventional.

Though it has a snazzy new name, the concept is tried and true. They used to be called mistresses or courtesans some time ago. Though intimacy is involved it is a different type of relationship, a mutually beneficial relationship. There must be mutual respect and both parties must actually enjoy the other’s company. There are benefits to both sides. The “Sugar Daddy” gets an NSA girlfriend with none of the emotional responsibilities or drama of a conventional relationship. Quality time is all about you for the most part on your schedule. The benefit for the “sugar baby” is getting to spend time with someone she likes that truly appreciates her time. She at minimum gets gifts and an allowance that covers girlie things such as nails and hair, and other luxuries she might not be able to cover on her own. Some arrangements involve much more, hence the “arrangement” aspect.

In a sd/sb relationship, the arrangement is worked out in advance. The sd/sb discuss their expectations such as allowance, how much time will be spent together and what is expected by both parties. Then all that is left is to relax and enjoy each other. If this is what you are looking for let me know. You seem like a nice guy, I just need to be sure what it is you are looking for before pursuing this further.

Oh and SE pretty much said my view of what a true sugar daddy is.

  16. BlkButtafly~264118~ says:

Sorry I’m so late catching everyone but I have been oh so busy from finding my sweetie to going to Tampa for the superbowl to finally getting my own place! Also, if the opportunity is still there, I’d like to be included in the Vegas trip. I meant to say so a couple of blogs ago but at the time I was supposed to be working a promo.

  17. BlkButtafly~264118~ says:

I already have the deposit needed for that SE clone lol when does the production begin??

  18. sweetredhead says:

SuthrnExec can we clone you? Very nicely put :)

  19. SuthrnExec says:

This is the definition according to SE (my little disclaimer). I understand that there are many other definitions and I have no quarrel with those who differ, but this is how I define it and why. An SD is a person that takes care of you in a way that makes you feel so very special – like you’re the only one in the world that matters. It’s not just a person who can provide all the materials things that will satisfy your expensive tastes – to me that quickly reduces the SD to ATM status. He’s a mentor who can share insight into the business world of his specialty while at the same time understanding that you can shed light and insight into the specialties of your world. I can’t write much about this without mentioning the chemistry that must exist. Without the chemistry, there cannot be the attentive ear to “hear” those things that will help him treat you as the special person you are. It’s surprising you with the little things – wowing you with other things that maybe aren’t so little. A SD has a gap, or a vacuum if you will, that needs to be filled. With the right chemistry between the right two people, the needs of both are met and the relationship works.

    OC wonderful story.
A sugar daddy is a generous soul who delights in seeing his special girl’s life improve.
A sugar daddy is NOT someone who sleeps better at night having interviewed a girl over dinner prior to paying her for sex.

Molly don’t beat yourself up over meeting a faker on this site but if you ignore the red flags and get duped again I can’t say I’m gonna feel bad for you…

  21. ~*kittylainy*~ says:

OC: yup, that story sums up what a sugar is. Thank you :)

  22. sweetredhead says:

You have to weed them out. I usually talk to someone Before I will meet. Either by email, phone, or messenger. Sometimes all.

  23. molly says:

i how do you know someone is a suger daddy becouse i have had the experience of meeting someone who is not. we went out for a date and i had pay for my meal. he than asked me if we could go my to place. i had to tell him were to go. his profile is still on the seekingarragement. Does this mean that there are more girls out there who are being fooled by people like this.

  24. sweetredhead says:

Aww that’s so sweet. You found a great SD, and he found a great SB. Wish you both all the best. Its great to find someone you can really connect with.

  25. Gail says:

Aww, your story was beautiful OC!

  27. gurlnextdoor says:

Awesome story OCSugar and yes you are very lucky.

  28. OCSugarBaby says:

What is a Sugar Daddy? Okay ladies… I need to tell you this little story. Not because I want to brag (those of you who know me will understand my intention). I met a potential (I will from here on out call him just “Sugar”). I hate labels. The Sugar and I met for lunch one day and we ended up meeting in a near by city. I drove us to the near by restaurant, I made a few wrong turns on the way. I covered my embarrassment and joked about since moving to California I get lost all the time and it frustrates me to no end. Never gave it another thought. At our next meeting we met at the airport and got into the rental car. He had already picked up the car, while waiting for my flight to arrive. When we got into the car he handed me a portable “GPS” device. I laughed and told him I make a horrible navigator! He said “silly girl” this is for you to take home. I hate knowing that getting lost in your new city frustrates you. I just about cried. No one has ever taken the time or effort to understand my daily life or concerns. Yet, I am a very private person and NEVER allude to needing THINGS. What a true “Sugar” in my mind, is someone who may have a crazy busy life, but truly cares to listen and want to make a SUGAR difference. Giving sugar to me is not a necessity. When you care to learn what true SUGAR tastes like… you make it a special priority in your life. I feel lucky to know how sweet it is and will never take it for granted. Sugar dating is something that is a learning process and I am one sugar that will continue to sign up for advanced classes on how to be a better sugar friend to all I come in contact with.

  29. chocolatevenus says:

A sugar daddy is a classy cultured generous intelligent business orientated gentleman, who enjoys the company of all types of women. He lives a fabulous upscale life (when he is not working) and enjoys introducing and sharing that lifestyle with his SB. He provides without having to ask it is his nature to provide.

  30. Joanna says:

OK to me a sugar daddy is a guy who takes care of me completely, I presonally am looking for a guy who will pay the rent on a apartment and provide me with an allowance, but I want to be able to connect with the guy as if it were ant standard relationship. I have always been attracted to type A personalities and they have always tended to be wealthy. Its just now I want someone to be able to give me a better life whilst I carve out a life for myself

    Joanna xx

  31. gurlnextdoor says:

Ok a sugar daddy, to me at least, is someone who tries to show me the finer things in life via trips, shopping, gifts, a monthly allowance, etc. Basically, he enjoys spoiling me and making me happy.
