Hi I’m also a newbie to the Sugar game. Made my profile about 5 days ago and just wanted some advice to see if I’m on the right path. So far I talked to one really nice guy but he lives in the midwest 🙁 I’d love some advice if anyone could take the time to look at my profile. My ID is 1333587

I want brutal honesty. Thanks in advance!

  2. Frank says:

Cali-have fun, give us a report soon!

  3. Jersey Darling says:

Cali, you’re in my neck of the woods! Have a great time, hopefully you both are avoiding public transport so you can stay nice and warm.

  4. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

Have a great time California SB.

Enjoy the lights of the city.

    Have great fun x

  5. California SB says:

Hey lady v! Im going to an eyes wide shut party tonight in Nyc. Im in the city right now im just totally freezing!!!

Frank i met birdie in another site.

  6. Lady Vuitton *1171431 says:

    Happy New Year to Everyone!

Is anyone doing any thing exciting this evening?

  7. Frank says:

Calif-did you meet birdie on this site, or in real time?

  8. Frank says:

Had rotator cuff surgery, been in a sling for 6 weeks, and supposed to be off bike for another 6 weeks, bummer.

  9. California SB says:

You were injured or something, right?

  10. California SB says:

Hey Frank what happened to your back?

  11. Frank says:

Haven’t been able to ride or run for 6 weeks. I am resolved to be back in shape in 6 weeks.

Did 3 spin classes last week and ran 6 slow pitiful miles yesterday.

  12. California SB says:

My new year’s resolution is to go back rock climbing. I haven’t done it in 2 years…

  13. African Queen says:

    @California SB, ok…I e-mailed you 🙂

  14. California SB says:

email me at californiadreaming1 @ ymail.

  15. African Queen says:

@California SB, Yes, I’m always myself…especially in this type of arrangement, honesty is very important. What’s your profile number or nickname? Do you mind if I see what you have on yours?

  16. African Queen says:

@California SB, thank you! Yeah you’re right with the pictures…sometimes I don’t feel very photogenic, but I guess I have to get over it now lol…I actually don’t wear makeup, except for some eyeliner and my brows, so that may need to be a work in progress :). How long have you been on the site? And positive outcome(s)? I’m excited to see where this goes…

  17. California SB says:

I just got an email from a guy “I am very drawn to you!! I dont know how else to say it frankly!! ”

That’s the reaction you want to get. You want to make them want to meet you in person. The rest, it’s up to you.

  18. California SB says:

And also… always be yourself. What works for us might not work for you. 🙂

  19. California SB says:

African Queen, you have a pretty complexion so I would choose a dark red dress for your photo shoot, not too tight though and not too short. I would also have make up professionally done. It seems over the top, but people forget our profiles are a like a page of a magazine…. we are here to market ourselves. The wrong photo can make a product fail and succeed. So, pictures are sometimes more important than words ( sad but true LOL). Take a look at Vogue and copy the poses of the models you like. Works like a charm…. 🙂

  20. African Queen says:

@California SB, thank so much for your feedback! I do want to get some professional pictures taken. The newspaper is a great idea! So grateful for your input!

  21. California SB says:

African Queen: I would hire a professional photographer. Professional photos will capture your best angles and will help you get dates from quality sugar daddies. It is a small investment but TRUST ME, it is worth every single penny. And like Midwest said… full body pics are essential. Daddies want to see what they are getting into. I took my professional pictures holding a copy of the front page of a newspaper showing the date. That way it shows your pictures are current. xoxo

  22. African Queen says:

@Midwest thank you sooo much! That’s very helpful information. It’s good to know that I don’t have to adjust too much. I will incorporate all you have suggested…again, thank you. I will definitely be asking for more advice as time moves. 🙂

  23. Midwest SB says:

African Queen – Beautiful pics! Your profile is well-written. I can only offer a few tweaks so here goes…I would put the part about what you can do for him first. He will likely take about 30s to skim your profile, so make sure he sees what he is looking for first. I would be a little more specific about your goals next. In the “What I’m Seeking” portion, you may get more hits for open-neg, but be willing to screen relentlessly and do not settle for less than what you are looking for. Perhaps include a little reminder of why he’s going to pick you from all the ladies in your area. There are quite a few AA SBs from GA, so you are going to have to bring your A game! I have met one personally, and she was stunning. She met her SD in person, so make sure you are in the right places while looking. Lastly, perhaps include a full-body shot. Love what you’ve got and sell it. Many men love curves, so don’t be shy.

Hope that helps! Some of our blog gents will also give great advice (I hope)!

  24. African Queen says:

@Midwest SB…I just copied the number that’s on my profile, here it is again: 1306468, or maybe you can just search by my nickname: African Queen…I’m really looking forward to getting feedback from you, you’re information is always very insightful.

Anyone else is more than welcome to review my profile as well and let me know what you think. Thanks everyone!

  25. California SB says:

Frank I call my sd#1 birdie and I call my BF princey. Sd#2 and 3 have no pet names.

  26. Transgendered Emily from Massachusetts says:

What’s everyone else here hoping will happen for them in 2013? I hope to meet a new partner and get a decent place. The place I’m staying in now is awful. I would also like to finally help my mother out the way I’ve always wanted to.

  27. Transgendered Emily from Massachusetts says:

I hope 2013 is a hell of a lot better than 2012 was. This year was a nightmare for me. Maybe the numer 13 can be lucky.

  28. California SB says:

@Guru: I know many Russian girls who are married to much older Russian men that’s why I’m guessing they are probably married! I think a Russian guy would look for something different than what he already knows, if he was ‘paying’ a sugar baby, lover, companion.

Guru to Jack: “How do you know Elena is Mexican and a female?”

Maybe Elena is a hot post op transexual from Iceland faking a spanish accent. His real name is Auðbjörg.

Happy new Year Midwest!!! With my job alone, I would be able to afford my apt, car, groceries and utilities on a strict budget. But wouldn’t be able to afford student loans or credit card bills. No mentioning NO shopping ever again.

  29. Midwest SB says:

Hey sugars! I’ve been under the weather for three days and I’m BORED to death! My head is a little fuzzy, so forgive any random thoughts.

CaliforniaSB – One question…would you be able to maintain your apartment, car, etc without sugar?

Jersey – Great tips! There are some great tips included in “How to be a successful SB” link on the right. It’s nice when we share to be helpful vs boastful.

African Queen – Your profile cannot be viewed. Is the number correct?

Jack – Just goes to show that there truly is someone for everyone! 🙂

  30. Frank says:

I know calif secret, she has a cute nickname for all her sd’s, and its the same name for everyone!

BTW- I would buy her book.

  31. flyr says:

CASB “I can’t give tips for free sorry. ahaha”

I see a new career as agent/manager to the supper SB’s or perhaps writing a better book. I see there are perhaps 10 books out there on either being an SB or lessons learned.

One of the things I admire about CASB is her ability to keep track of 4 and not utter the wrong name in the midst of passion.

  32. Jack says:

Elena’s photo is up now on my profile–sorry, I just didn’t think that when I modified my profile to make reference to Elena , that it would make my profile unavailable for view (I knew that, of course, justdidn’tthink about it).

Elena was born at the Dolphinaris in Cozumel (hence, she is Mexican) and her keeper said she was a female–she was moving too fast most of the time for me to personally verify. Besides, have you ever seen such a cute face on a male?

  33. Frank says:

Jack: haven’t ween your photo yet, but I’m sure she is a keeper!

SD Guru- Easier said than done to not get emotionally attached to my SB.

Calif- Did you meet SD1 in the sugar world, or was it a real time relationship that developed into sugar.

  34. SD Guru says:

    From the previous blog…

“I think they are married. Does she have a ring?”

I was in a sauna where people were more than half naked and don’t wear any jewelry. That’s how I know she has great boobs and ass! My guess is that he’s her rich bf/sd which seems to be common among Russian couples.

“if you write something Guru doesnt like…. he will delete your post…”

Myself and other moderators only delete posts that violate the spirit of “blog etiquette“, which I wrote more than two years ago after one too many flame wars caused by trolls. And unfortunately the blog etiquette still has to be enforced from time to time since then.

    @Jersey Darling
“@SD Guru – No way, you use SA?”

Thanks for reading my blog! Yes I’ve been a member of SA since its early days, and been in the sugar world even before that. Which makes me wonder, have I been in sugar for too long (starting my 10th year!)?? 😯

“SD guru- read some of your journal, what a train wreck!”

That’s why I haven’t gotten emotional attached since then and I’ve been so much happier with my sugar relationships. One of my golden rules for sugar dating is “don’t get emotionally attached… especially for a married man.”

“I have had way too many “dates” with potential sd’s who take me to dinner and then tell me they are interested in an arrangement but never get back in touch.”

It’s difficult to give you specific pointers without knowing more about you and your situation. As a first step perhaps you can share your profile number with us so we can get a sense of who you are. Are these pots from out of town or local? When they expressed interest in an arrangement how exactly did they phrase it? If they’re really interested then they should be the ones following up with specific actions. My guess is they probably weren’t that interested for some reason.

“Guru and I have a standing joke about me delivering baked goods to him nekkid…”

What? It’s no joke! I fully expect that to happen one day when Phoneguy isn’t watching! 😛

“posted a pic of my new Mexican girlfriend, Elena…”

How do you know Elena is Mexican and a female?? I’m sure you fed her only the finest sushi and seafood on your first date!

  35. Jersey Darling says:

Haha… I know. Whoops! That’s what I get for responding so quickly 😛

  36. flyr says:

    @Jersey – I think you have a 400# surprise comming

  37. Jersey Darling says:

Thank you! I’m glad to hear your thoughts on my tips as I usually don’t share them. I have been lucky that everyone I have met in person has been quality – though maybe, as you’ve mentioned, it wasn’t luck as much as sending the right message.

As for your story about Elena, the fact that it happened isn’t as much of a surprise as you’d think. I’m not your typical sugar baby as well, and know that most times the connection transcends the physical into the mental. That’s why I don’t set limits on what I’m attracted to – the truth is, I never know until I meet the person. The mind comes first, then the body.

I couldn’t see your picture with her, I’m guessing it hasn’t been approved yet. What attracted you to her in the first place? Perhaps Gina (and all of us!) can learn something.

  38. Jack says:

    Jersey Darling,

I love your advice to other SB’s–right on! I believe your style will appeal to the quality SD’s everyone seems to be in search of. And I completely agree that most of the strategies you would use in IRL dating work just as well in sugardating. And although none of your suggestions focus on the SD’s wallet, in the end, I think your approach will achieve that goal admirably as well.

As for me, I’ve been out of the country the past week, and have even posted a pic of my new Mexican girlfriend, Elena, on my profile (989322). I made several exceptions for Elena–she far exceeds my usual strictures on weight (she weighs over 400 lbs!) and although I never pay money upfront for a first date, I paid nearly $500 in advance for my first date with Elena. But as you can see from our smiles, it was all worth it.

  39. California SB says:

Frank: I am only in love for my SD#1 but he is married with 3 kids. I also love my BF but it’s a different kind of love… can’t explain. SD#2 and #3 are just for fun, NSA or whatever you wanna call it.

Jersey: Of course my daddies don’t know about each other silly!!

Leila: I love SD#1 because he is just perfect. Tall, handsome and soooooooooooo adorable. But I also don’t trust him. I seriously doubt I am his only sugar… SD#2 and #3 are older. One is married the other divorced. They have lots of money to spend and I love that part 😛

I can’t give tips for free sorry. ahaha 🙂 Ill take some time to write some later. I’m meeting SD#1 in a few. His wife is an idiot. How can you let your handsome husband out EVERY Saturday night??

  40. Frank says:

    First date tip

Be on time or close, if you can’t be there on time the first time, you are probably never going to be there on time.

  41. Jersey Darling says:

Flyr inspired me to post some simple tips… and Cali, since you’ve been so successful can you post some of yours? I would love to read them.

    1) Get the second date. I personally wait until he asks because it shows me his level of interest, but if I had a good time with the person, I ask for one. I say something along the lines of, “I had such a great time tonight. When can I see you again?” Usually I’ll lightly touch their arm or take their hand in mine when I ask because I feel a connection and truly hope to see them again. I think they can feel my sincerity.

    2) Dress tasteful sexy. Personally I prefer form fitting over skin (that comes later), and when I do show skin, I try not to show too much cleavage (I have large breasts so this can be difficult), but just enough that if I bend over to pick up something or lean over they’ll see it. Girls with smaller breasts can get away with showing more skin.

    3) Be comfortable. Sometimes daddies will find nervousness cute, especially if you’re open about it, but ultimately you want to get comfortable (without the aid of alcohol!) so you can enjoy a deeper conversation.

    4) Be curious. I love learning about people in general, so the fact that a man lets me into their world for a little bit means I will definitely enjoy our time together. I love learning about him, his gestures, his mannerisms, his personality, the way he thinks. That alone makes the experience worth it, which brings me to my next point…

    5) Enjoy the experience. You want to enjoy each date to the fullest and not just view it as a means to an end. You may not meet your new daddy, but you can love the conversation, the flirting, the dinner, and learning more about him.

    6) Be at your best. Be well rested, energetic, and not frazzled from how busy your day has been. This can be difficult, so schedule a time when you know you’ll have time to prepare and be relaxed for the meet.

You’ll notice that none of my tips are different than what I’d suggest for a non-sugar date. None of this is a science. What works for one person may not work for another. Get to know yourself well enough that you find what works for you. But keep in mind that this task is not easy – wealthy men get that way because they are smart with their money, and I for one never expect them to part with it just because I happen to look pretty one day or have a nice personality. If they choose me, I feel incredibly lucky and never take it for granted. A connection is hard to find, and that’s ultimately what this is all about.

  42. Leila says:

CalifSB, you make me curious when you talk about your 3 SD’s, which one do like spending more time with? Are they all married?which one do you have genuine feelings for? Just curious:)

  43. Jersey Darling says:

@Cali – as for seeing two people in one day, I remember when I first discovered online dating. For a week straight, I had dates lined up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I was new to dating in general, and that’s the first time I learned that men actually find me attractive. That’s also when I learned I don’t like to rush the experience.

I’m guessing none of your daddies know about each other?

  44. flyr says:

@Gina – To begin with I am not a fan of first dinner dates unless there is a very strong feeling this will be working out or you both know it is something for the moment (one or both of you are in town for a while) .

But if they are taking you to dinner and not calling back then there is probably some sort of disconnect. You might even take the bold step of asking one who did not followup to give you some pointers.

What follows is very general and may not apply to you but sort of a troubleshooting checklist.

Did you think carefully about what he is looking for – fantasy, security, relive the past, sex, kinky sex, a friend and sex, an excape, ego boosting arm candy, etc. Asking a question may get you part of the answer but you have to deploy all the sensors.

Drama – few SD’s are looking for drama……….

That your follow up was a week later about getting together for “some fun” may have come across as a little too professional. A couple of suggestions, don’t wait a week…… if someone took you to dinner and was appealing to you write a thankyou note the same evening or the next morning. Mention something positive about him that you liked and express the hope that the two of you will proceed. I would keep the arrangement between him and the fun.

Is the you in the profile and the you that walks in the door the same woman? You might ask before the meeting what attracted him to your profile to get some hints.

Are you dressing the same for each meeting ?

Are you sending any unintentional signals?

Are you differentiating yourself from others

It’s more important to be special than avialable in today’s world

    Did you talk politics……………..

Before you feel all alone I talked with one SB whose expectation was that she might meet 50 before finding the right SD. One more argument to keep the meetings simple.

If you have tattoos I would let the SD know ahead of time but keep them covered

Take a look around wherever you are , are you dressed appropriatly for the place and also to put your best assets forward. It is a place where too much of a good thing may not be perfect. Did you ask the SD what was appropriate for the place, what he likes.

I assume I am not different from most SD’s in that when meeting someone for the first time I will be trying to visualize her laying naked on my bed. The outfit does not need to show a lot of skin or be overly tight but should help the visualization process.

One thing that really turns me off is someone who is checking their phone for messages or texts., Ditto for excusing herself to go to the ladies room and taking the phone.

Good things if appropriate for the meeting , occasional “accidential” touching if your analysis is that the potential SD is looking for a tactile intensive relationship. There are othere secrets but they are for another time,

Again please do not take these as anthing more than general suggestions. You called late at night because your car would not start, the first question i am going to ask is are you out of gas.

  45. Jersey Darling says:

Truly Cali! I’ve never been a good juggler!

Something interesting though, is that when I first started this I only wanted one person. Now I seem to like having variety, and I’m opening up to the idea of having more than one. I’m surprised with myself! I’m getting in touch with a side of me I never knew existed.

@Gina, I can’t give much advice without knowing your situation. With how many beautiful women are out there, I feel looks are never enough unless you’re someone’s exact type. You need something that distinguishes you. I’ll say in my case, looks may get me in the door, but my personality is what keeps me inside. I’m genuine, open, a little quirky and truly myself, and I think men are surprised by the openness and genuine conversation. Apparently that’s hard to find on here. Perhaps some of the men can speak up with what they look for.

  46. Lady Vuitton says:

    Where is Russian SB?

    I am missing her blogs.

  47. Lady Vuitton says:

Yes lets make 2013 a great year and find some wonderful genuine SD’s and SB’s.

CalifSB, you are a minx. How do you keep it all going Lol 🙂

Enjoy All, cheers to fun, empowerment, pampering, emotional and financial support for us all.

  48. Frank says:

Calif- how can you be in love with 3 SD’S and a BF. You must have so much love to give! lol

    • Zi-Fi says:

Frank have you been in love with everyone you have been in a relationship with and how do you just fall in love so easily and fast if so?!? Inquiring minds must know! Especially, from a male’s perspective… 😉

  49. Gina says:

So, I have had way too many “dates” with potential sd’s who take me to dinner and then tell me they are interested in an arrangement but never get back in touch. I even wait a week and then text them about getting together for some fun and NADA. Wth? I am pretty, slim, and am a very good conversationalist so what is it? Is anyone else getting this?

  50. California SB says:

SD#1 will have me all for himself tomorrow….

  51. California SB says:

I was so bad today…. I saw SD#2 in the morning and SD#3 in the evening…. I think I am the bad girl of the year. 😛

  52. California SB says:

Hey African Queen…. no matter the sugar daddy income level…. they ALL want sex dear….

  53. African Queen says:

Hi, I’m new to being a SB (and I’m very excited). I get many views, but not too many genuine responses…I have talked with two, but all they wanted was sex and I know from that, they aren’t real SD’s. I’m not just sitting around either, I’m sending winks and emails to those who I am interested in.

Can someone please review my profile and let me know if it’s ok? Am I doing anything wrong? My profile number is: 306468…thank you so much! Happy New Year

  54. EllenSugarB says:

So…I just got back from lunch with my SD from when I was in college…
6 yrs ago. And I overheard some 22 year old guy saying “When we walked in I saw this really old fat guy with this hot girl and I was, like “wow” ”

    ummmmm….hahaha a 22 year old thinks I’m hot lol

  55. Jersey Darling says:

I’ve had great luck with this site so far and only hope it stays under the radar enough that it doesn’t attract more of the wrong type of people.

  56. Tina says:

Whoohoooo bring on the New Year baby! I’ve already put out some feelers for a better job, have a wonderful honey by (well, sorta) my side, and enjoying life! YEAH! 🙂

  57. EllenSugarB says:

Good media coverage for a little site like SA 🙂

  58. EllenSugarB says:

    YAY first!

  59. Jennifer says:
