Many relationships at SeekingArrangement are of the “May-December” variety (or perhaps May-September), so there may be times when the younger Sugar Baby wants to do something fun but the older Sugar Daddy is being, well, an old fuddy-duddy. A stick in the mud. Not a lot of fun. And sometimes a Baby just wants to shop shop party shop party party shop shop. This can be tedious and tiring even to the most generous and patient Daddy.
Usually this is fine and follows the dynamic of most every relationship, traditional or Sugar. —But on Valentine’s Day, each member of an Arrangement should want to go the extra mile to show their opposite number that they are special. What is expressed may not be love in the usual sense, but Valentine’s Day is a time for Sugar partners to show how much they care.
One of the best ways to show your affection is by getting out of your comfort zone. For SDs, this may mean going to a club with the loud music and the shenanigans on the dance floor. For SBs, this might mean that you go play golf with your SD. (Maybe you don’t know how to play golf, but you might enjoy being his eye and arm candy as he golfs with his pals. He will definitely enjoy you making them envious every time you dote on him.)
Activities are great, and so are romantic dinners at swanky eateries. But what cuisine to choose? Ladies, if you usually want champagne and caviar—as a Sugar Baby should!—maybe give a bit of thought to sharing a meal that your gentleman might find special. An Irish pub is fun, with hearty food and lots of old-school games like darts and billiards, thus letting him be just a guy instead of the big man for an evening.
That’s great for the gal looking to show she’s a good sport on Valentine’s, but what about for the Sugar Daddy who wants to take his baby to eat her favorite food? This applies to those dining establishments she might be shy to suggest because it doesn’t fit the “Sugar” ideal. I’m talking about short ribs or epic pancakes, food that’s messy and fun. What better way to show you care than by letting her be her non-Baby self for one awesome meal? (You two can always burn off those extra calories later in the evening.)
Remember how, no matter how accomplished or beautiful you are, you got butterflies before your first Sugar rendezvous? That is really taking things out of both parties’ comfort zone, and that means it’s a great way to make your Valentine’s Day an unforgettable one.
What can couples do to get those butterflies flapping around again? Sugar relationships are often built on the generous member showing the attractive member amazing sites and experiencing exotic places. The attractive member, too, commonly “wows” her Daddy with getting even more fit or sexy or wearing a new outfit or lingerie to excite him.
Maybe an adrenaline rush is in order. Go bungee jumping. Try a zombie 5K. Or visit a nudist beach! That will probably take you both wayyyy out of that boring comfort zone and into a time you’ll always cherish and laugh about. Bonding and loving are what Valentine’s Day is all about, whether you’re a married couple, a Sugar couple, or anything in between.
