How come so called “SD” can’t even bring a small thank you gift to the first meet and greet? I’m sorry, but any guy can take me out and buy me dinner and drinks. This is a certain lifestyle we seek, hence we are on the site. Why not compensate just a little to show us you are serious about it. We spend a lot to look good, at least I do and nails, hair, makeup, pedicure, outfit etc… all adds up to a lot of $ spent to just go and have dinner and drinks. I can do that with friends and coworkers.

    • Anonymous says:

you spend a lot of dollars for yourself a sugar daddy doesn’t need you spend a lot of money or any on a first meet

    • Simon Jester SD says:

What are you going to do on the first date to show us you’re serious about it? Yeah, you chose this lifestyle but no one owes you anything.

  2. yougottabekiddingme says:

    Hey SL,

Thanks for bringing back the keyword search. I’m sure many appreciate it :).

  3. FortySevenSWM says:

I am seeing a new part in SB profiles. Lots of minimal profiles that omit the “occupation” field and include “marriage minded”. Must be 10 or 11 new profiles in my area (Detroit area) that fall into this pattern.

    • Simon Jester SD says:

One reason could be because a self professed SB in Texas, who has a YouTube channel, said on one of her videos a couple of months ago that the smart women are the ones who marry rich men and then divorce them for half their $$.

    • Anonymous says:

i just skip those profiles i’m not interested in getting married again

  4. ed says:

No longer can see who I block and have the ability to unblock?? Some warning would’ve been nice. I had a couple girls blocked that I may have reconsidered but now gone for ever. If I hide someone do they still see me in their search, their favorites? And is there NO email support for paid members??

    • Katanna says:

Hi! We recently removed the ability to undo or see blocked members, we did this as some users were abusing the ability to block and reblock users. And we do have a dedicated customer support team who helps all members. You can reach them at [email protected]. Please let me know if you need anything else.

      • yougottabekiddingme says:

Perhaps you might consider being a little less trigg3r happy with the block button, Sir.

I’ve never blocked anyone on this site, but have found that some people tend to use the block button as an ego/revenge/ego-hurt weapon. I actually prefer being able to reference why I chose not to move forward with someone. Polite declination or simply ignoring has worked just fine for me except for with one person who I found to be infatuated and emotionally strained, maybe a bit lost or something. He had a romanticized idea of what a relationship could be for us, and he never relented trying to convince me.

If it came to actually blocking someone, it would not be someone I’d give a second consideration, likely because I would have already considered it before blocking them. You can also use the notes feature to list highlights (good and bad) of your interaction. But blockers’ regret? Sorry, not sorry.

I do, however, think there should be a “confirm block” step as I’ve heard about people being blocked accidentally. I don’t have any experience with the steps, so not sure if this feature is already in place.

  5. Jaybird says:

@YGTBKM! It’s been along time hope you’re doing well.

@ATLSD tried emailing you a time or two to no avail. Hope you’re doing great too.

@SD with Open Eyes How are you?

@Dave I’ll be nice and say hi to you as well

If I missed anyone sorry I hope the sugar world is treating you all well.

    • Anonymous says:

nice to see you again jaybird hope life is going well for you stay sweet

    • yougottabekiddingme says:

Hi Jaybird! Aww…it’s so nice to read from you :). Thanks for the shout-outs. I’ve been doing great. Keeping busy. I hope things are swell for you. I’ll have you know that I think of you from time to time when a certain musical prompt comes to mind. It’s pretty innocent, but perhaps a potential—albeit vague—identifier, so I’ll not mention. But it’s fun to fancy the image! 😀

    • Dave says:

Hi how are you ? Thanks , nice to see you again

    • SD with Open Eyes says:

      @Jaybird – Doing well!

    • ATLSD says:

@Jaybird hello. I have the same email. Maybe it’s off by a letter or character. I’ll shoot you a quickie.

  6. wtf says:

I get it now , there is no more meet and greet , girls r just ready to directly meet at a hotel and the reason is they don’t want to waste time , really ?

    • wtf says:

I guess desperation is messing up their judgement an they are ready to do it and take risk and meet directly in a room . SURPRISING

      • Anonymous says:

not surprising but this is very dangerous

      • Simon Jester SD says:

Not surprising. There are way more SB’s relative to SD’s. Most of the SD’s even say on their profile they don’t make very much money. SA puts the average at 1/4million for income. Not a lot of discretionary income there. And definitely not enough to support the lifestyle this website advertises for SB’s. So when they get a first date a lot of SB’s are willing to go all the way to try and secure an arrangement.

  7. wtf says:

wowwww now I get it why ppl say this site is not the same, I get it now

  8. wtf says:

    why cant I post?

  9. Anonymous says:

NYCGuy50 is full of ****, ladies lots of BS on SA

  10. ATLSD says:

    Hey yougottobekiddingme,

    Check your email

    Thanks ATLSD

  11. Anonymous says:

please fix the lifestyle expectations back please :c

  12. sam says:

A few pointers. Don’t stick your tongue out. SD may want younger women but they don’t want an immature kid. Stop with the animal ears too.

Take a look at yourself. Looks don’t matter to some men seeking free hook ups. Looks do matter to a man willing to enter an arrangement.

Don’t just pose in your gym clothes, Show your range by including a nice dress.
Do give us an idea of what you want (age range etc)

  13. wtf says:

how ho I can fix my age it is wrong on profile

  14. wtf says:

katanaaa how do you correct dob on the profile

  15. Dave says:

Is this officially a dating site now ? Ah no…. there’s profiles just talking about $$$$$ so no .

  16. wtf says:

again dob is not correct how can I fix it ?

  17. wtf says:

how do you correct your age if it shows it wrong on your profile

  18. wtf says:

is this you ? YGTBK ?

    • yougottabekiddingme says:

      Yeah, it’s me! Heya 😀

      • wtf says:

wow nice to see you afterrrrrrr a longggggg time , how you been and hope all is well with you . this blog has really become boring now after all the people r kicked out . it use to be real fun

      • Dave says:

It’s going okay ,I’m perusing the profiles yet again looking for my perfect girl but all I find are the usual delusional self proclaimed unicorns . How about you ? I stopped the pump and dumps with fake money . It got boring and mundane . It was bound to happen . Don’t think I’ll meet anyone worth rime or money

      • yougottabekiddingme says:

        @wtf

I’ve been well and taking it easy, thanks for asking :). How have you been? Yes, the blog situation turned hot mess, and never recovered.

        @Dave

Aww. Am glad to hear, Dave. I hope you mean it :). I think people are bound to find an ideal companion when intention is in the right places. Be patient, have fun, and do no harm.

        xo

  19. _Dave says:

Women’s entitlement has reached an all time high . Now the profiles say “you must make me laugh “ in addition to the financial demands . Yes be my atm and clown . Yet if men even state one demand women get offended

  20. yougottabekiddingme says:

    SL!

Not sure if I didn’t notice before, or if the “quick profile view” is a new feature. Either way, it’s a brilliant and efficient tool for referencing a profile while messaging. Thanks for that :).

    • yougottabekiddingme says:

      SA, I meant :).

      • _Dave says:

Yougottabefeedingme I bet you stalk a lot of SDs

      • yougottabekiddingme says:

Hi, Daviepoo :). Nice to read from you after all this time. I’ll have you know that most of the restraining orders placed against me have expired. The others were dropped after the complainants conveniently vanished the day before trial. While I’m free to stalk as feverishly as an empty purse could ever desire, I’d rather just masturbate and take a nap. 👄

How’z it for ya these days?

      • Dave says:

It’s going pretty good , I’m back to perusing the profiles , to hopefully meet someone that’s worth it . Same old delusions can’t meet one down to earth . Oh and I stopped with the pump and dump scheme with fake money , it got boring . Heh, I guess it was bound to happen . How are you ?

  21. Annonymous says:

Can you guys tell me when the key word search and lifestyle is coming back? It’s just a waste of time talking to Splenda Daddy’s. If they can’t do 3-4K a month, I don’t want to waste my time talking to them.

    • Anonymous says:

are you sure they can’t pay that much or they just don’t want to

      • Anonymous says:

Yes I’m very sure they can’t do that much. This is from my own experience. I’m not crabby about it either (meaning I do not go off or make the daddy feel worthless). I just know from experience the feature will eliminates wasted time on both ends. Unfortunately it has increased unnecessary time. As someone has already mentioned each of our own circumstances are unique. I’m allowed to voice my concerns, as well as you. Have a great day!

      • Anonymous says:

well maybe it will help a SB to bring back lifestyle expectations but for a SD it does not many women on here don’t know what these levels mean what would help a SD would be to print the age ranges the women are looking for some do put age ranges in their profiles so that saves me time because i won’t message a SB that is looking for a man under 30

    • Y says:

      Tell em girl!

    • SD with Open Eyes says:

If you don’t want to have your time wasted then sugar is not for you. All Sugar Daddies and Sugar Babies get their time wasted constantly. It’s called due diligence. A baby needs to make sure the daddy is good for what he promises. A daddy needs to know nearly everything about a baby, especially those who want 3-4K a month (there are tax consequences when you get more than 14K a year from a daddy and the IRS has no sense of humor).

      • Anon Donor says:

Lol, what tax consequences? Have you filed form 709 before? I have many years. Unless you are gifting hundreds of thousands, what’s the consequences.. a lifetime cap of 11M now? Good luck with that.

      • Gigi says:

Yes, it seems to take time to find the right daddy and every baby is in her own personal situation. Some are desperate, some are unemployed, some do it for the exact same reason….fun without the serious nature of relationships. There are significant considerations related to taxes but one simply needs to have a skilled and knowledgeable accountant.

        And thats my “Baby Talk”

        Gigi

  22. Anonymous says:

bring back keyword search and lifestyle expectations wtf

  23. Prettyprincess says:

It turns me off when I read men’s negative opinions of females on the site written into a profile . Makes me feel like they are making a hobby out of dating and have reached pro douch level

    • Gigi says:

Lol, I agree, especially when there are many demands for physical features/maintenance but little to show in the arrangement. A guy rejected me because I have big breasts…whatever…lol

    • _Dave says:

But when women have a laundry list of demands , that’s acceptable and men should just do what you say .

  24. Anonymous says:

This would matter a lot more if you brought back keyword search.

    • Anonymous says:

Agreed! Also, Lifestyle preference is important. I can see women want this avoided but it saves men a lot of time as many of us have no interest in those seeking extravagant or substantial expectation. It just wastes us a lot of time.

      • yougottabekiddingme says:

        Dear SL,

You should maybe consider your users’ input. Keyword search is an effective tool for narrowing down one’s search for specific types of people or arrangements. None of the words choices listed in your word bank are words I’d use to seek out a certain someone.

Also, I imagine that you use data analytics to make some of your decisions about applications and interface interaction, but something else you might want to consider is conducting a short poll of users’ preference for proposed changes before you remove certain features. You know…the same way you send out email blasts for promotional purposes.

      • yougottabekiddingme says:

It’s back! The keyword search is back.

  25. WJ says:

It’s more like: if you like the pics then you read the profile, if you don’t like the pics, then you don’t read the profile.

  26. SD with Open Eyes says:

I can think of no advantage for a Sugar Baby to have her profile “professionally” rewritten. If a Sugar Baby doesn’t have “it” then even a 100% perfect profile won’t help because they would be “exposed” on their very first message reply.

    • yougottabekiddingme says:

      Agreed.

The blog regulars used to try to help people who showed some potential, but for some there’s just no hope.

There was one rockstar blogger in particular who had taken up the cause, and helped some girls save themselves from themselves.

Seems SL has run with the concept.

    • Gigi says:

Lol yes. Upon meeting, what were her “interests and hobbies” turns into just “stuff I like”

      Baby Talk
      Gigi

  27. Anonymous says:

    I actually read profiles

  28. SBaby says:

Honestly did someone read a profile beside me ? Man seems did not care of personality as long as she look hot.

    • Anonymous says:

Yes I do all the time. The personality and understanding is what I’m looking for. Not saying appearance never comes into it but that’s more a personal thing.

    • Jang says:

A well written, detailed profile is what catches my attention. If a profile a bland, half assed couple of lines of meaningless blah blah, it goes on my block list right away.

  29. Mana says:

Yes, I have to do something to meet some girls.

  30. SugarVeteran says:

Is it just me or are the blogs dead? A few years back when I actively used this site, there would be dozens of blog posts per hour. Not sure what happened.

  31. Clintix says:

No one reads long boring profiles 😂 I look at the pictures then decide if I wish to message, let’s be honest girls do the same.

    • AW says:

The girls look at income and net worth, men look at photos

    • Anonymous says:

I’ve already been told….get ready… you must be a prude to have all that. As if the generation of proper etiquette and a well written profile has phased out. This forum has gone downhill just in the matter of 2 years since the feds seized backpage. I feel as if they scurried over to SA and have devalued the concept of Sugar dating. Now I come across far more Fboys, pimps and prostitutes. SA needs a far better process of vetting and allowing new accounts to open within the same day or instance its created. I have far too many scammers reaching out.
