When I founded Seeking.com in 2006, my vision was clear: create an extraordinary platform for successful individuals looking for meaningful relationships. In 2020, that vision personally became my reality when I met Dana. Despite our 30-year age gap, our connection was immediate, deep, and genuine, leading us to marry on June 9, 2022, without a prenup and waiving our rights to divorce.
Our relationship symbolizes exactly what Seeking.com stands for today: authentic connections without the trappings of material or superficial expectations.
A New Direction: Genuine Connections
Since 2022, Dana and I have been reshaping Seeking.com’s mission as we aim to foster genuine connections and relationships, mirroring our own success story. This shift was driven by Dana’s and my sincere wish that every Seeking.com member finds the love and happiness that we have found.
Enhancing Your Experience: AI Selfie Verification
Earlier this year, we implemented an AI-driven Selfie Liveness Verification. This initiative has dramatically reduced fraud, ensuring you connect with real, verified individuals.
Upholding Community Standards: New Measures
To maintain our community’s integrity, over the next few weeks, we will be taking our enforcement of our community guidelines to the next level. We expect that only a minority of our users will be affected by these enhanced measures:
- Real-time Warnings: Messages suggesting transactional or compensated dating will trigger an immediate warning, giving users the opportunity to reconsider and align with our community guidelines.
- Educational Penalties: Our system will proactively identify and address behaviors violating our community standards. Users ignoring our warnings and violating our guidelines will undergo an educational video and quiz, coupled with temporary account suspensions (24-hour initial suspension, escalating to 48-hours for repeat offenses). Additionally, penalized members will experience restricted search visibility with newer members for seven days post-suspension.
