Finding the right gift for a significant other can be difficult. There are a lot of factors to consider: Do you know enough about them to find something that suits their taste and personality? Is the gift sending the right message, considering the stage of your relationship? And, maybe most importantly, are you spending the appropriate amount on the purchase?
Shopping woes don’t just stop there, either. We’re also often leading busy lives in the fast-paced world we live in and sometimes taking the time to peruse the stores at the nearest shopping mall can seem daunting. Even scrolling endless search results on Amazon can be exhausting. What if you’re on a time crunch and your SO’s birthday is right around the corner?
Anybody in any kind of relationship can be faced with these dilemmas. It’s extremely pertinent to members of the Seeking community though. Regardless of whether you’re in a long-term relationship or you just recently found yourself on our site, chances are gifting is on your mind.
Introducing Seeking Wishlists
Seeking recently made sending some gifts even easier when it launched Seeking Wishlists, a feature that attractive members can add to their profile.
The new feature allows attractive members to curate a list of gifts they’d like to receive, choosing items from 17 different shops. From designer handbags and perfumes to lingerie and gourmet chocolates, there’s something for every taste.
Seeking Wishlists: How It Works
Established members can then view an attractive member’s Wishlist and choose something special to send to them from their curated collection—or they can send a gift of their own choosing. In turn, attractive members can then accept the gift, refuse it or modify the gift to receive something more their style. This ensures that recipients are getting exactly what they want and the gift giver doesn’t have to spend a whole lot of time or energy finding that perfect present.
Wishlist gifts are purchased directly from the Seeking website and no personal information (such as a shipping address) is exchanged. Basically, Seeking Wishlists is a completely secure one-stop shop filled with fabulous items! Sending gifts has never been easier!
The Most Popular Wishlist Items
Seeking Wishlists has been live for a couple of weeks now and it seems the community is enjoying the convenience and assurance the feature offers! Thousands of attractive members have filled their lists, which have been met by thousands of purchases by established members.
Considering the feature’s immediate popularity, we were curious: What are most users adding to their lists? Which gifts have more givers chosen to send? We compiled some data, thinking it might be helpful information for you when you’re choosing what to list or send.
So, did the gifts match up? Are attractive members asking for the gifts established members want to send? It seems so, as the top two most popular gift categories for both senders and recipients were fragrances and lingerie. From there, the categories are slightly different on each side, with many attractive members hoping next for designer bags and wallets, and established members hoping to send some delicious high-end chocolates. Read on for the Top 5 gifts being requested and the Top 5 gifts being sent!
Top 5 Wishlist Gift Requests
Gucci Leather Crossbody Bag
Gucci began as a leather and fur boutique in Milan over a century ago, which is why the Italian fashion house now produces some of the finest handbags on the planet. And as Seeking members are discerning in their taste when it comes to luxury goods, it’s no surprise that this piece of wearable art landed atop our Top 5 list.
Gucci Bloom Nettare Di Fiori
Sitting second on the most popular gifts desired is this floral fragrance, also by Gucci. Its name translates to “flower nectar” from Italian, which is fitting considering its top notes of rose and ginger are paired with undertones of jasmine and osmanthus. Perfumes don’t solely benefit those wearing them, but also those around them—this gift is a win-win.
Michael Kors Analog 3 Hands Timepiece
In any other instance, purchasing a watch for an SO might send the wrong message: “You’re late. Let’s fix that.” But when it’s featured on a personally curated list of desired gifts, the only messages being sent are positive ones. It also doesn’t hurt when the timepiece is made by one of the world’s leading luxury fashion brands, has a beautiful rose gold color and is bedazzled in sparkling quartz.
Daisy Eau So Fresh by Marc Jacobs
With top notes of raspberry and grapefruit delicately dancing with undertones of rose and warm plum, the play-on-words name of Mr. Jacobs’ refreshing and light fragrance is certainly appropriate. And it seems established members are also interested in purchasing this—it was fairly high on the list of Wishlist purchases, as well.
Coco Noir by Chanel
Move over, Chanel No. 5! The French fashion house’s Coco Noir eau de parfum landed on both of our Top 5 lists, so it’s just as popular among those wearing it as those buying it. This fragrance also features bright bursts of grapefruit and rose, balanced with Venezuelan tonka bean and Indonesian patchouli for warm depth.

Royal Blue Lace Halterneck Teddy
Going from bling to the bedroom, the most popular item sold on Seeking Wishlists is a lace halter-top teddy in royal blue. While this gift might at first seem for the benefit of the person who sent it, consider the confidence and empowerment lingerie inspires in those wearing it. We don’t try to look good solely for others, we also try to look good for ourselves.
Coco Noir by Chanel
The only item to be featured on both Top 5 lists, the Chanel fragrance is obviously a winner of a purchase.
Godiva 19-Piece Assorted Chocolate Gold Gift Box
Chocolates remain a quintessential romantic gift, so it’s no surprise that this assortment of delectables landed on our Top 5 list of Wishlist gifts being sent. The Belgian chocolatier fills this box with unique tastes, among them the cherry cordial, white chocolate square and dark mint medallion. This just might be dessert for your next date!
Black Long-Sleeve Lace Eyelash Teddy
As we mentioned above, lingerie was one of the most popular Seeking Wishlist shops established members are buying from. If the royal blue piece above isn’t your speed, maybe this number in black will do?
Godiva 22-Piece Assorted Milk Chocolate Gift Box
We’re going to get a little science-y for a minute: Chocolate helps your brain release serotonin, a neurotransmitter that literally makes you feel happy. Why not indulge yourself once in a while? Science says it’ll put a smile on your face!
